Yesterday I posted the five fish and five bugs I still need to catch to complete the Shaolin Museum. I’m happy to report that the majority of them aren’t in season yet. Sadly, the Scorpion and Tarantula have been evading me lately, unlike a few of my friends (namely Vella and Sarah!) who have already caught at least one of the critters! I’ll keep scouring my town at night!
Today was another ho-hum sunny summer day, which means plenty of watering, watering and more watering of flowers. I’m praying for a thunderstorm, or a light shower… anything! Maybe I should stop carrying the てるてるぼず (aka Ghost Umbrella) around, since it’s supposed to bring good weather lol!
Chief decided he wanted to stop by and critique my School House. I was a bit appalled by his opinions…

You can imagine my embarrassment. No visitor has ever given me such a low rating before. I guess my Classroom themed house is a bust! Or maybe Chief just isn’t a fan of summer school. I guess it’s time to redecorate… AGAIN! I’m trying to decide on what themes to use. And I’ve decided that I’m going to display the Mario Theme room in the basement. Don’t tell me it’s too annoying! I’ve never displayed the full set, and I wanna do it! 😛
Later on in the evening, I was hanging out by the beach as usual, looking for bugs/fish with fins. My luck seemed to have run out for finding big fish, I haven’t seen much at all since July rolled around. Well, I suppose that’s not entirely true since I caught the Napoleonfish the other day. But anyway, I saw a nice big finned fishy swimming toward me and I cast out my line, hoping for the best!

WAHOO I finally caught this beast! The game was right, I really did have to work to catch this stupid shark! At least I have it now. One step closer to MUSEUM COMPLETION! We’re almost there, folks!
Wow! Congrats on da hammerhead!!! They make the best turns in the museum tank.
I caught a tarantula the other night. I musta been bitten 5 or 6 times before I did it. This time I ran far away to wait until it calmed down then slooooowly sneaked back. The scorpion bit me once, I think–it was behind some trees and there was a hissing sound and I was transported back to my house.
Congrats, Deb. I know how long you are seeking for this hammer head. I caught my 5th hammerhead the day before yesterday, and was thinking to let you come to my town for it. Now I am glad you caught it finally. 🙂
Thanks guys! And congrats to you Brannon, I’ve yet to catch one of those buggers!!
